About us
Fabrica presents Lok Sabha: ten young Indian photographers describe their country in the five weeks of the greatest election in the world, 814 million voters to renew the Lower House of Parliament.
The most populous democracy – one billion three hundred million inhabitants – is at a turning point: with an economy that has slowed down growth, high inflation figures and a growing mistrust of the political class, the country that has always been associated with tolerance could change completely.
Taking as its starting point the main themes and organization of the election, the Lok Sabha project will give the inside story, in ten different views, of the various aspects and contradictions of a changing India.
Fabrica, communication research centre of Benetton Group, is a lab that invites young creative people from all over the world to come together to study and describe social change.
