THE POLLING STATION GOES TO THE HERMIT

In India every voter should not have to travel more than 2 kilometres from home to be able to vote. In a forest inhabited by Asiatic lions, every election an elderly priest of the Shiva temple has the exclusive use of a polling station

STAR SYSTEM AND POLITICAL POWER:
HAND IN HAND IN TAMIL NADU

Our reporters

10 young Indian photographers describe their country during the election of the Lok Sabha, the Lower House of Parliament.

From 7 April to 12 May, for five weeks, they will be following the greatest electoral moment in history, with 814 million voters at the polling stations.

They will document from the various regions of India what is happening in the country, where economic growth is slowing down and the future is seen as fraught with uncertainty.
